  For people expecting the Tv show re-cast on the big screen this isn`t the movie for you. This is Michael Mann`s vision of the Miami Vice of the present. Dark, gritty, and tense. Though Jamie Foxx & Colin Farrel don`t compare to Don Johnson & Phillip Michael Thomas they do find a way to make the characters their own and enjoyable to watch. This movie was excellent if you enjoy Michael Mann`s style of film making, If you do you will love it. Also the music still is true to the show being cutting edge at the time.   I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and plan to see it a second time! The action had an element of reality, which made the action so much more believable. The sound track and film style were enhancing features. This is not a mindless action movie. Definitely worth seeing.

  I was never a fan of the tv series, so as a result, Iliked this movie. It wasn`t anything like the series, the movie was a little slow at points though.
