  I have never been so dissapointed in a movie in all my life. I have seen worse movies but have never been so let down by something I was looking forward to. I was so excited to see this movie. The trailers were fantastic and the opening song was perfectly mattched for the anticipated action thriller. I saw an interview with Michael Mann where he was saying that this movie was a great opportunity to do everything that he couldn`t do on TV. There was hardly any action and the intimate scenes between James (Farrell) and Isabella (Gong) couldn`t have been more unbelievable.   The relationship between Crockett and Tubbs wasn`t developed. Certainly Colin`s character had the lead role. Some of Gong Li dialogue was difficult to understand.

  Miami Vice was great. I am GLAD they didn`t make it look and sound like the original! They modernized it and made it relevant. Really good action and acting.

  Excellent action movie. Atmosperic and engrossing. Finally a TV remake that lives up to the original. I can`t see whats not to like, unless you have serious ADD and need an explosion every five minutes!! Michael Mann rocks!

  I thought Miami Vice, well, wasn`t at all that great. The previews made the movie look spectacular and amazing, but that`s not the case. In the previews, they show only the action scenes in the movie, and the ONLY action scenes in the movie. This movie was long, boring, and too much talking, the action scenes were pretty cool, though. Expect a fair performance from Jamie Foxx and Colin Farell, with tons of action, drama and sex. Overall, 4 stars, good plot and nothing else really.

  What a load of garbage! Dialogue seemed to be written in code it was so hard to follow! Violence was unnecessarily graphic. Cinematography was terrible. Not even worth a cheap rental. Save your money people!!!
