  not bad but I did miss the charm of the tv program. I am a big fan of Don Johnson and I did not see the same star quality in the two leads this time.

  I reallly, really disliked it. It was slow, grim, grimy and overly violent. Colin Farrell was dragging himself through it. I can`t figure out why Jamie Foxx signed on to this. It`s a real misstep for Michael Mann, whose movies are usually watchable. Not this one. I wish I could unsee it.

  It was ok ... I liked the camera work. Too many close ups of Colin, not enough of a story line for Jamie. I wouldn`t pay to see it again, that`s for sure.

  How could it be called Miami Vice? Could have been called anything else with new character names. Not a remake. Lots of action but no character development.
