  The Flintstones worked well enough as a cartoon but it could never work as a live action project. The jokes simply don't work in this format. It's particularly sad to see Rick Moranis whore himself for a paycheque like this, but it's still not as nauseating as Rosie O'Donnell. She erases the line between annoying and disgusting. Putting Rosie O'Donnell in this is the worst miscasting since...well, since the last time Rosie was cast in anything. Yuck! Your children have nightmares about being consumed by this pig monster! You don't want to give your kids nightmares, do you? Steer clear! If you watch this you have rocks in your head!

  It just doesn't translate. And Betty was thin on the TV show. And Betty was annoying but not *that* annoying. At least there was no nudity.
