  GREAT movie ! the songs and dances were so easy to get into that i often found myself bouncing my leg in my seat. i almost couldnt sit still from wanting to get up and dance around the theatre. they could have had bigger and better moments with the characters but all in all it was a very entertaining movie!

  where do i start i love all dance movie but this one was the worst movie ever i would not rent it i would not sit and see it everyagain i wish i could get my time back.it was all over the place and the girl (jen) is like 10 and her boy friend need his ball to drop and see like a man not a boy hope i saved you some money lol

  I found the movie didn't live up to the standards that was presented in the traillers. It had too many plots running at the same time, that barely connected. The only thing I did like was the dancing.

  what happened to the excitment of the original serious? Come on are there not better films out there to spend our money on. Dissappointed indeed!

  What's the point of remaking FAME as a limp, boring, waterdown version of the 80's classic. Once again this new generation gets another cultural hand-me-down. Here's hoping this bombs at the box office. 1 star.
